Well now you have to change your signature line to your faster time...
and Jt I am diggin the new add on to the end of your signature, lol
I went to bandimere here in Co. over laborday for highschool drags and my times are a bit different (alot slower lol) A general rule for racing here at Bandimere is subtract a second from your time and that will be around sea-level cause the track is 5800ft. above... Doesn't help I have 33's with stock 3.73 gears but just to compare here is the times off the only timeslip I could find, made three passes total
This is one pass and I know on another one I ran 19.604 so overall pretty consistent, not a speed demon but I didn't put the 33's on so I would be faster
My first race was up against an old golf I believe, before the race I was looking over at his car while we were lined up and he didn't have any back seat, passanger seat, door panels, speakers...and he also had the 2 little rear windows made of plexiglass...He ran a 18.1 so I felt I held my own
Just close the screen and put it on the floor. When I take the X through tech inspection I usually put my coat over top of my helmet also so that the tech guys don't inspect too much. If they see a helmet in an SUV then they usually get curious.
Yeah, tech inspection at most drag strips is...well, to say when we went at high school drags my friends older chevy doesn't have an overflow res for his radiator so they ziptie a popcan to his grill and called it good...
Yeah, you get someone with a SAS'd rig (burns) wishing they had a Fast explorer and then, someone with a lowered mounty 347 wanting to lift theirs (JT)...I wish I had so many things!, it would so kewl to jump out of a 12.0sec gen 3 and jump up into a gen 2 SAS'd on like 40's
All it took for them to start checking me out with a fine tooth comb was my headers, he saw those and started checking every little thing, he spent probably 10 minutes looking all over it, then let my friend with a mustang go right through without even really looking at it. It's suv discrimination.
