Will they fit an explorer?

i think they are 5 on 5.5 so you will need adapters....explorers are 4.5 on 5.5

I don't know about the Lightning wheels, but Explorers are 5 on 4.5....

I don't know about Lightning wheels, but I assume they are a different bolt pattern. If you look around though you may be able to find replicas with the 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern though...(for example, I found replica Harley F-150 wheels with the right bolt pattern...)

Actual lightning rims won't fit, but replicas will if you can find them. Explorers and mustangs carry the same 4.5 pattern, so it helps to look up replicas for the mustang as it's a more popular vehicle.

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie pop?

If you tighten the fifth lug up really tight, it will snap, and you'll have 4.5 lugs? hehe

Af - I've thought of this. they will not fit but can have spacers made. I believe they'll stick out about an 1 in the back and I'm not sure if they'll hit anything else.

i actually borrowed a rim from a friends lightning just to see how they would look. I must say they would look pretty sick if they didn't stick out so far.
