15.5 mpg on the way to chico average speed was 75-80.

16.6mpg on the way back with the cruise set at ~80mph. That's better than the explorer which is about 15.2.

And, I can't drive 65 - 70mph on a 500+ mile trip. CEG is right

I could get a uhaul like I did for Moab, but my uncle's neighbor might let me use his a few times. I'll see it I can "rent" it from him. I'm headed there the 15th so we'll see what he says.

I was just wondering if you know the max tow weight on the E-350.
My camper weighs 7500 lbs dry.

Oh, there are no diesel specs in my maual FYI.

Well I'll put it this way. For E-350s it ranges from 6,300 - 10,000.

...well, being the kind of guy i am, i felt it was my duty to chase down this blonde, i mean, this van, and find out everything i could to help in your quest for ideas...and i did...

...as for the van, it was custom built, 2002 model, last year with the diesel, quigley built and trimmed by http://offroadunlimited.com ...it says it has a tiger inside on the front axle...she also has a full tv and surround setup with all the toys inside...sorry, that and the pics was all i got on the van...
