Front Driveshaft CV Joint

Has anybody found a front drvieshaft CV Joint other than the Dorman 932-201 ?

I replaced my CV Joint on the front driveshaft 6 months ago, the boot ripped all the grease poured out and joint is toast. To make matters worse, I lost the receipt and the parts store is playing hardball, so I get to purchase a new CV Joint.

The Quality of the Dorman does not look good at all. The OE Ford part lasted 10 years, 6 months for the Dorman sucks.

if you are wanting to rebuild it then that or the napa home name brand kit thats identical in your pic is your only shot.at the price napa wants though you can by their home brand brand new non reman. units

I did a little research and found the Dorman CV Joint failing quite often. Local parts store only had the Dorman. They offered to have me pay labor ($60) and they would give me the part and submit it to Dorman for warranty. Judging by all the online reviews of part, it's safe to say they have a problem. Real problem is I needed the driveshaft back for last trip of the year to the Dunes this coming weekend.
