:salute:I just got my tires replaced and I was looking at the vehicle from the front, my front tires slant outward. I've seen explorers before with this but does this cause the tires to wear quickly or is this just a Ford thing.

Maybe you need an alignment. Did you change tire size?

I had an alignment done with the new tires. I was wondering if there's an adjustment that would straighten the wheels out.

The tires should be near vertical and straight ahead when using the naked eye. If you can see either is off then you need an alignment as you should not be able to "see" the toe or camber. If you just had an alignment done, then did it wrong or you knocked it out of alignment already.

Yeah the alignment guys really don't like to do our trucks right because they have to install "camber shims"

You can install these yourself if you are inclined and have tools. then go back to the alignment shop and tell them to get it right this time because you made it easy for them.

If not, get these-( you need 2 kits-one for each side)

Take it back to the alignment shop, have them install them and get it right. I would like to see the printout of the alignment specs they gave you--which they would have done had they got it right.

Ditto.. Many alignment shops are just lazy. I even brought the camber bolts like Turdle posted to get our Mustang aligned. When they guy didn't understand what they were, or how they worked I knew I was at the wrong alignment shop.

I have since bought my own camber gauge (SPC 91000) and set my own camber now. I've set the camber (and toe) on two vehicles. One more alignment and its already paid for itself, not to mention I know the alignment is correct.

Ball Joints

When the upper ball joints go, the wheels will slant in quite a bit.
YMMV
