Full size spare in stock location?

Could I fit a 31x10.5 tire in my stock spare tire location,(98 sport) and does the recall program pay for a spare? If it doesn't fit, what is the largest size that will?

it may need some persuasian (sp) but it will fit... and the spare is included in the recall if it is a flintstone tire

well, i just fit a 265 70 r16 in my spare spot, but its kinda tight in there. anyone else have the setup mhanrahan wants?

31" tire will fit for sure, that's where I put my 31 when I had them.

DO you have a Hidden Hitch Round Tube Class III trailer hitch? If so you will not fit a spare under there. Then you will have to come up with something such as this=

A 31x10.5 will fit in the spare position just fine, a little tight, but will still fit.
