Getting rear controls to work with aftermarket HU

im expecting a no here but thought it was worth a shot any. is it possible?

btw: im referring to the rear controls on the back of the center console

The answer is yes. They make an adapter so you can use your rear controls but they are expensive. IMO it is not worth it because nobody but me touches my stereo anyways. You can go to any Best Buy and their install bay should be able to order them for you.

Do a search on the net for a product SWI-X. The main site is www.go2pac.com. They make what you may be looking for.
 






Oh and by the way, nice choice of a CD player. I have had an Eclipse for 4 years and absolutely love it.:D
 






Do you have a remote? I don't have people in the back very often, and even then, they usually don't care about messing with the stereo. But if they do, I just toss the remote back there. I know there is someone who makes a kit to make the controls work. I did a lot of searching on it, and finally found one, but it's about $100. Not worth it IMO. (Sorry, I can't remember the name of the company, but if you keep surfing, you should find it without too much trouble).
 






I do the remote thing, if I'm tired of messing with the radio, I toss my remote back there or something, but 98% of the time, only I mess with the radio.
