So I’m taking my 2018 Explorer to the dealership for some front end work, but also, it seems to lack acceleration off the line and “vibrates” when sitting at stop lights. It gets even worse with AC on. I got underboost and misfire codes. I’ve taken it in once before (a week and a half ago) and they said there was a tube that was disconnected that is what caused the issue. Well, that was the wrong answer. I initially thought motor mounts for the vibration, and maybe vacuum
Leaks for the other. I have PIU, 3.5 eco boost with about 75k on it. Has anyone got any idea what might be causing these issues? Would they all be caused by the same problem? All I know is that both codes pop up at the same time, so the misfire and underboost are related somehow.
