Great tire. Everyone that i have talked to loves them. They might not clear all that well in thick mud because the tread design.. but I dunno. Getting a good deal on them?

Im looking for something more long term than the BFG's i got. They only have about 25% tread left. I can get 32 inch MTR's with black rock crawler rims for 325. The MTRs have over 65% of the tread left. Just something im looking into.

MTR's are the best MT I have owned
They are an MT though so dont expect them to last

what BFG's do you have now? AT or MT?

I love my MTR's but for the $$$ new I cant afford them so I am looking at other brands to replace them with

I have the BFG MT. I just got them recently for free lol. They dont have much tread on them and were just something to hold me over fora few. But this deal seems to be pretty good. Im wondering how much life i can get out of the MTR's with 65+ precent tread left. I can get both tires and black rock crawler 15x8 inch wheels for 300$. That seems like a good deal to me.

I paid $500 to a friend for 5 ea black rock crawler rims and 4 ea 50% tread 35" MTR's and a 35" spare, that was a good deal....$300 sounds great, nut 65% is relative make sure you look at em good first

buy some super swamper LTB's. They are some bad a$$ tires and are very cheap.

I like tires that last 2 seasons or so I will likely never get swampers unless I am using my truck in the dirt only, so far shes not a trailer queen

Yeah i want something thatll last a bIt too, they will be on my DD. The amount of tires and selection and opinions are very confusing sometimes lol.

Here are the current pics of the tires. Ive already asked for more.

nope.

Didnt think so. Im thinking this is a good deal for some 32's with rims. Im still wating on a few more pics to see for sure about the tread, but it looks pretty good from the pics i see here

you know i still havent gotten off my lazy butt anf taken the time to install the locker i bought from you lol.....i need to do that soon.

A guy I know in school in Manhattan has a set of 37s on a jeep and loves them. He has got a lot of miles out of them for being an MT

honesltly if you dont care about ride quality or noise the MTRS are the BADDEST MT out there, id say there are pretty close to a swamper in the mud, and they look badass, but they are noisy and ride like ****, i have to rotate and balance my tires about every 1000 miles and they are still out of round. i paid 300 for a set of used mtrs 33", had around 60 percent but one was new. the i bought procomp black wheels for 48 each so i spent about 500 for mine 325 is a good deal , just dont expect them to ride nice or quiet

I have 35" MTR's on my Sport Trac with a 3" lift, and I love them. Now my Trac isn't a daily driver so I can't really say much about them lasting. I've had them on for a little over a year but the Trac has only seen about 5k mileage on them in that time frame. With the way the tread is, I can't imagine them lasting too long on a daily driver.

Good tire, but are noisy and ride like crap on the highway. :(

I want to add a little caveat here...

For WESTERN wheeling, it seems that the MTRs are the way to go.

Don't even think of them for EASTERN wheeling though... Unless you really like winching your truck out of the woods time after time.

They plug up within 10 feet of entering a trail and never unpack again, no matter what. Totally suck for Eastern clay.

Here, the IROK, Swamper, Boggger, etc., are king. As an example, my youngest kiddo is running a mixed set of tires on his full-size Jeep Cherokee... MTRs up front, Pro Comp XTs out back. The back will dig and go -- the front looks like a pair of gumballs and he washes out on every corner.

So, consider where you're running the tires... for Moab-like rock, the MTRs are great... For clay or mud, leave them on the tow rig.

I do not have the wear issues or ride issues with my 35" MTR's they ruide just fine on the highway, they are noisy, but hey it s BII on 35's what do you want? no cab noise?

I have heard they plug up in the good but I have never had problems with them in mud or snow, but I dont like mud all that much so its not my type of wheeling.
