- 2001 Explorer Sport Trac
I have a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac with a 4.0L v6 engine. I have water in the oil, oil in the water and a lot of water in the air filter. It has NOT been driven in flood water. There is no white smoke coming from the tail pipe, although there is some water. It will start but water get into the oil fast. It has been sitting for a few weeks. I pulled out one of the spark plugs on the left side just to take a look and it looked normal. I have not checked any of the others. Could the problem be a bad intake gasket or a blown head gasket?
