I've narrowed it down to 2 headlight housings I'd like to purchase, both available on eBay, with a price difference of about $10.

These, with the black headlight housing:

OR

These, with the diamond/chrome housing.

Just a note, of all the aftermarket lighting I've done thus far (Altezza tail lights, Rally 4x4 lights) both of them are in chrome housings. I've had some people tell me black and white look really good together on X's, but I didn't know how it would look since I have done chrome thus far.

What do you think?

EDIT: Here's the tails I've got on there

With those tails, I think the chrome ones would look better.

You should be careful with those after market headlights, though. I've heard that a lot of the members here have had trouble with them yellowing fairly quickly.

eBay headlights, or just aftermarket headlights in general?

I'm not sure...
The name section525 comes to mind. I think he had a problem with some after market ones.

When i get home I'll post up a link, I'm at school and my proxy sites down.

Just purchased those off eBay, will post pics after install!

^^^^ i got those same ones and just put them in. the passenger side doesn't fir perfect (corner lights). the head lights were a PAIN to get off. although to be honest im not too impressed with the new headlight housing w/ light output compared to stock and i have hids. although i need to aim them but i dont think it'll make that bug of a difference

Ill get better ones tomorrow
They're the best I've seen with the exception of one eBay pair. However, im too lazy to fork out extra $$ for something I've already done (sort-of)

truck looks pretty offroad worthy but r u planning on replacing those destination le's? it may benefit u to get a set of a/t or m/ts (uve probably already thought about it)

Yeah dude Im just waiting for those to wear down.
I'm not doing any serious offroading until I can get my lift and some All or mud terrains on there.

So is there an increase of light output with these housing compared to stock?

Very happy with the results, install took abuot 3 hours (Dont ask, lots of distractions)

and yes, i know i have more cutting to do behind my grill insert.

i like how they say "DOT STAMPED"......so they're probably not DOT approved. they hope no one will notice.

do these lights have the UV coating that the stock ones have?
