Help FROADER pick new tires

36" - 38" on a 15" wheel. I'm not getting new wheels.

Which ones and why? And no Procomps! Take into account the type of wheeling I do.

List:

1. TSL SXs
2. MT/Rs
3. IROK (eh)
4. BFG KM not KM2
5. ?
6. ?

..mt/r's or bfg k/m...easily available out here used and newer, but i'm not sure if you don't have to get bigger wheels going to the 38's...:scratch:

...and i would suggest getting 36's, so i can have yours when you go to 38's..:

I say BFG's or the MTR's

I looked for some used ones on Pirate, Craigslist (all so cal) and recyler, and didn't find much I found a ton of 37" on 22" toyo's though Crazy SDer's

Well, scratch the bfg's, they don't sell anything bigger than 35 on 15. gotta get new wheels for that.

I'd stick to 36"s.

If you're buying new, its either IROKs or SXs as they are the most economical.
But overall, KM2s would probably be my choice from that list -- but I dont think this is available in 15".

EDIT -- oh crap, u said KMs, not KM2s

Colin, I know you don't want new wheels but 37's get hard to find in 15's. I had this same problem I got my 17" cragers from summit for just over $200 bucks shipped. If you get some tires cheap enough it's worth it.

Yeah i checked the bfg website. 35x13.50 is the max for 15.

One 37" tire that is available in 15" of course is the MAXXIS Creepy Crawlers -- but a bit pricey
