HELP! I am stuck and i can't get out. (Story of the longest Whoops!)

Take your come along, do what you were doing but bring a big pipe to use as an extension on it. I thought you said you had a bucket on your kabota? Can't you dig the snow out? Just dig the front out and see if you can drag it forward a little bit. Or you said there's a plow on it, plow some of the snow out so your kabota will sit on dryish firm grass/dirt/whatever, maybe bring kitty litter or ashes from a wood stove or sand or something to put under the kabota tires. Who's lawn is it? You could always try facing the kabota to the truck, put in reverse and use the bucket to also pull the kabota as well..... I don't really know much about tractors so I dunno if you can run the bucket as well as the engine. I dunno some ideas...As everyone else said though be careful....and it's probably water in your exhaust causing it not to start like 410fortune said. I don't think gas really freezes unless it's EXTREAME conditions. I got family living in northern Maine were it's often -40 and they never have much problem starting their cars.

He just needs a little tug....you could have yourself out in a few mins...

thanks a lot guys for your help! i will try the stick idea to keep the ice back. yeah fuel lines do freeze up here alot the gas stations up here pre mix fuel line antifreeze in there fuel so one ever notices. But with fuel prices going through the roof people are cutting corners. I had to help a buddy of mine yesturday with his truck that froze two. had to plug in the block heater for couple hours.

Man,that is stuck! As long as it doesn't freeze up, you should be able to get it out.

Any updates??

that looks like how I got it stuck once, breaking the ice helped and I rocked it out in 4 low

he must have froze :(

wow....almost as good as me in a stream....wait its better cause hes frozen into it!

Get some wheel chains for that tractor. Tractors don't get any traction on ice w/o them. Since you're using chains, don't yank it out, move forward slow till the slack is out of the chain, then let the clutch up all the way. Put as much weight on the rear of the tractor as possible, that tractor has a 3pt hitch, on it, why not try lifting the back up a bit while you pull it out. Just becareful not to lift it up to high and flip the tractor.

If you don't have chains, find some gravel and sprinkle it down over the ice where you're going to be pulling from. If it doesn't have the differeintial lock, use the individual wheel brakes to stop one wheel from spinning and the other from doing nothing.

Have you thought about bringing out a lot of rock salt with you? That will do a number on that ice so you can get it out easier.

Just be thankful you weren't this deep. ;)
