sounds cool
I would just double check the diameters to be sure

curious
what are the numbers for 225 75 15, narrower yet for front ?

ok 225x75x15 - Section Width: 8.85 in - Overall Diameter: 28.28 in - Sidewall Height: 6.64 in

I think it might be a tad bit too tall with the AWD.

If you get a chance, check out this html program - http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp?action=submit

It's pretty decent for comparing sizes, even gives you the difference of your speedo read when you change tire sizes. Pretty neat.

Heres an idea

you go buy 4 skinny 17s with tires that match diameter of mine, Ill trade 2 fats for 2 skinnys

lol sounds good on paper

I'm in, If this doesn't work out, we'll work out the details :)

BTW
I am with you on this, I have wanted to do it also, but 17s are even more difficult to locate.

I'd imagine it's probably a pain in the ass with 17's. With the 15's there is quite the bit of choices for sizes. Problem is, most of the tires aren't rated for our load.

See
You must bow to the fat

actually, too wide for front. These are 29.1" tall according to cooper.
The black sidewall has a real cool cobra snake design
this is 275-60-17, on a 9 inch wheel. I need to look harder, but haven't found a matching, narrower tire

:) Fat is where it's at brother. I love the way your truck looks. Just need to skinny the front out a bit. Let me take a look into some things.

Looking into getting a fat chick?

I like the look of fats and skinnys too. My mustang has 295X50X15 on a 10" rim in the rear and 215X65X15 on a 7" rim up front but there is about a 3/4" difference. I wanted 215X70X15 but coldn't get them in a matching tire.

Dude, that's sweet! Do you have any ass shots of this fat chick? Let's see some pics!

Little bit of an update, got the set of tires, just have to have them mounted and balanced and try to fit these fatties in there. LOL See what happens.
