BL=16HRS OR SO
RB=shop did it

Yeah body lifts are time consuming
>,<

helped my friend with one on his jeep. Not hard at all ... just time consuming.

Im hoping the spacers wont take long. I have a friend helping me once they get here. We should be able to knock it out in no time with the both of us.

Allow an hour for each spacer, and make sure you have a really big pry bar to get the lower control arm down.

That sounds bout right. We were guessin about 45min for each one. But yeah gots a pry bar and spring compressers and anything else you can even think of.
Hes got a double wide trailer on his farm filled with every tool imaginable. Haha
Even got a homemade pipe bender. Prolly gonna fab up some exhaust pipes once it gets nice n warm out :D

Im sure we'll find something in there that will somehow speed it up ... Theres just that many tools in there. lol

Nice looking X. It is a bit taller than I plan to go with mine, but still very nice looking.

That's one badass 3rd gen. Goes to prove these 3rd gens are just as capable as a 2nd gen. :)

Can't wait till I have some $$$ and get some 2" spacers for the mounty.

Looks good, can't wait to see it after you get new wheels and tires on it.

THANKS, wheels should be early next year, but tires will have to wait cause i just bought these

i wasnt planning on doing the BL this year (thats why i sold my spacers to you) and the plan was when i get new rims with less backspacing id go ahead and do the BL, but we got some good weather for a few days and i was bored so i installed it. it is pretty tippy so i just bought new spacers in the mean time lol

:rolleyes: you like working outside in the cold??

Looks good. I second FROADER on it needing some 37s :D

I'm thinking 35's would be about as big as you'd want to go. Just my opinion.

But I must say its awesome to see the 3rd gen's fianally getting off road modded and looking so damn good. With how old the 1st and 2nd gens are getting, I think this is going to become a rapidly growing trend. I know my RB spacers are mere weeks away.

Hey Chris.... Way cool... You're looking down on the world now. I really like the McCain/Palin Sticker on the rear glass. I'm glad to see a fellow conservative, especially at your age..

Good Job on the BL.

35's for sure would be the biggest id go, im thinking 33x10.5x16 or possibly 34

Thanks a lot Mike. i love politics, its wierd cause my whole family hates it, it just Intrigues me some how. thats the first comment on the sticker and im glad its positive:thumbsup:

Oh its staying on for a while cause my friend informed me thats it a "BADGE OF HONOR" LOL

If your gonna do a 33, go with 33x 12.5 or 285/75. A 33x10.5 will be way too skinny for the lift you have.

I'm most likely going to replace my 265/75's with 285/75's with only Ben's spacers when my DC's are worn out. With how 32's fit stock, 33's will fit nicely with Ben's 3" lift.

At least 35s. 33s are only 1" bigger than what you have already.

the only prob with that is this is my DD, and i think having to cut the body to fit them may look all hacked up

im going to measure everything and find a 35 tire to eyeball it, they wont be bought for at least a year ot though, i did meausre earlier my front wheel well is 43 inches high

You'd fit 35's no problem with that much lift.

Your tires measure 31.6 and 35s will measure ~34.3"-34.6" which is ~1.5" larger from the center of the wheel than what you have right now. There has to be that much room there with that much lift. I realize that you have a while before you get tires, but I'm just saying. :)

It needs tires bigger than 1" total than what you have now. :cool:

get a spare rim,and go to a pool supply store and get one of those tubes kids float around on,
when you have it take the both and mount the tube on the spare rim like a tire, and inflate till it is the size tire you are looking at buying, than jack up the wheel you want to check and take the tire off and put the rim with the tube on there, and than see if it fits , just jack the one corner just a bit more off the ground to make the tube on the rim fit,
