To begin with, Lets start with Water 4 Gas, lets call this Water 4 Trash. I started with these units, Ok they work if you make a HUGE amount; there is still problems. These work for smaller motors no doubt! HOWEVER, the "pure baking soda (pbs)" as an electrolyte, BAD IDEA!! Use Naoh or Koh, these produces more HHO with less added, PBS will cause your SS and 316l to rust, EXTREMELY quick!
I understand the whole concept for w4t was being able to buy it at local stores. Naoh and Koh, are a little harder to find. The plastic middle they tell you to use, TRASH, melts to quickly no matter what volts and amps you throw into it, doesnt matter which electrolyte you use either! Now I admit, I made a crap load of units (up to 6) for the explorer and got a gain, however, quickly i lost the gain! it just wasnt enough lpm to make a difference.
Talking about a difference, use plates instead of the rods or wires; if you have a big v6 or higher. Again the other options are great for smaller motors! From everything ive done, ive noticed Distilled Water is the best choice! Im still gonna tinker around with a few ideas. Also the w4t "4 ft hose", you can shorten the hose if you want! However, you have to add a "gas catcher" which is what the generator hooks into before hooking into the motor. Noticed another thing, make the hose a lot bigger id then 1/4" from the gen to the gas catcher, from the gas catcher use a hose just a lil bit smaller id. This is so there is gas in the catcher and the gen, pulling into the motor at a quick rate. With the gas catcher this will also eliminate the "check valve" on the gen. Also noticed with installing mine and others, THERE HAS TO BE MANIPULATION!
I dont care if you manipulate from wrapping it to EFIE, SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE! Now the best ive seen, was with Billys Explorer he has a 1993 4dr 4x4 like me (but his is purple, lol and less miles on it) he used an o2 extender (spark plug fouler) and o2 manip and maf manip! he is doing awesome! from 17 mpg to 31 mpg, HE IS NOT USING W4T! He is using 3 smack boosters! He ran three smack boosters into one gas catcher and then to the motor, also using 1/2 tbl spoon of Naoh in each booster.
This is what I wanted to input, cause I did start a while back my HHO experimenting, so this is my update! I know there is some bad things i pointed out but there is the good and the truth, no reason to blind fold the truth, when we are all wanting to save!

Have you tried the ecm reset that smack used on the "6 pack ranger smack"?

Thanks for the great post. I am working on my Ford Explorer Sport Trac 4.0, 2001. I also started with water for trash. No results yet. My fathyer and I dissagree though. I say we must greatly increase the amount of HHO. He says we must slow down the bubbling because that's what it says in the water4trash book. I am working on a generator with plates.
I have been using Baking soda. Where do I get other forms of a electrolite to use?

believe it or not, a cheap 100 percent grade of potassium hydroxide is Rubic Crystal Clear Drain Opener from lowes, about 2lbs is 8 dollars, oh yeah, reset to ecm, i did get a different gain with ecm reset, but not w4t method, you can also get on ebay to find deals on KOH and Naoh, there is two sellers on there that sell it in like 5-10 lbs i think

Electrolyte

Thanks for the reply. I am going to Lowes to get some. I am building a new generator using much of the knowledge I've gained from the internet up to this point. W4G I have had no gains at all. Have you heard of using vinegar?
I saw a youtube vid and it looks like you get pretty good production with that.:salute::salute::salute::salute::salute::salute::salute::salute:

heard of it, never done it. baking soda method "weighed" it down and made the metal rust quicker. the KOH and NAOH seems to not rust the metal and at the same time make more HHO.

What concentration of the KOH did you use? Did you experiment with different concentrations of KOH?

Thanks ...

I dont know how reliable the sources were on the actual grade, but I started at 50 then 75 then 100, 100 made the best and the quickest.

Ford Sport Explorer XLT 2002 4.0, Without increase MPG HHO

Hello, thank you very much by its collaborations.

It installs a Kit HHO Dry Cell, that produces according to the salesman of Ebay, from 2,5 to 5 LPM of HHO.

The Dry Cell is - NNN + NNN -

Used Bakin Soda.
I have Installed, all the electrical facilities perfectly, have the Generator of Hydrogen, the Bubbler, DUAL MAP Sensor Enhancer for HHO, PWM.

and a connection from the Bubbler after MAF, but even so not with himself that are realised the increase of MPG.

in a while the vehicle gave 25 Miles me in HWY, but at this moment this giving less miles me than the normal thing. I fit to the Dual MAP until aque the motor begins to fail and backward movement later until one becomes stabilized.

winter update, brrrrrr..... ok so with the "anti freeze" method, still to cold for mine, using the koh and powering it up even letting it sit for a few mins, the 12 degree and 8 degree windchill plus going 50 mph, is just to much for it! stayed frozen, has a pocket in the middle and bottom of water but that is it, another downfall, while its frozen, my mpg dropped, however i did add 31s instead of the 275, but it shouldnt have made that big of a difference! but it dropped! im gonna disconnect for the winter; seems to be the best bet

(remember I use a gallon of water, so a smaller unit might dethaw)
