how many CFM needed to cool 5.0?

hey,
i just put in my 5.0...well its a 332 stroker actually and i don't have enough room for a mechanical so i am only going to run an electric...but i only have 6.5" from the back of my winch to the shaft of my water pump...and i was hoping to use my 4.0 HD rad which is like 2.75"...so i need to know how many CFM I am gonna need to kool it and then look for an appropriate electrical...input please...

From what I understand more important is a GOOD shroud, one that seals all airflow and directs it across core. That being said, I am swayed towards a pusher-puller combination, with at least 3500 cfm.
I want to know what you find out as this is on my long list of want to do's

well i was looking at flexalites catalogue today and saw that a mustang electric moves 3300 CFM but then when you got to a truck...it only does around 2500 CFM...which i know is different because its a different size rad and bigger grill and all that...but i'm putting a stroker in my truck and dont' have room for a mechanical and only have 6.5" so my options are get teh best electric under 4" or go with the truck rad for more surface area and dual electrics...it would just be nice to get away with using the rad i got...

Can you get an explorer timing cover and water pump? they are shorter and have more clearance. In fact i would try to get a 2nd gen v-8 timing cover water pump and accesory drives. I think the timing cover and pump are available at FMS, and all new ford crate engines are xplorer setup, so if a guy was putting one in a mustang, he'd have to change it all over to mustang( long water pump) style. So, sometimes you'll find the stuff on ebay, brand new.

I don't know how well it will work in a truck or offroad environment but in my mustang I have the following:

Aluminum howe radiator
Black magic electric fan
Meziere electric water pump
180* t-stat

My 306 has never got above 185 while driving around town in traffic or out beating on it.

yeah see i don't know...haha...i was already measuring to put a fullsize f150 rad in the front...but that was just oo much mod...so i guess the question is would a 4.0 HD rad with good airflow cool it? or what do it need...?
