Hi, I'm looking at trading my daily driver Explorer for a full-size pickup and was wondering what you all think mine is worth?

It's a 1991 4-door XLT with Factory manual transfer case, 5-speed, manual hubs. Factory 3.73 limited slip rear end but I replaced it after someone hit me directly in the rear wheel and bent the axle/rims. I replaced it with a 2nd gen 3.73 limited slip with disc brakes. Added load-leveling shocks.

Everything works except the passenger rear window, rear wiper, indoor rear door handles and I removed the A/C condenser. It's in good shape but has slow leaks and I ran the trans low on fluid once a couple years ago so the transmission whines a little. 125k miles (or 225k).

I know the manual transfer case and transmission is rare in a 4-door so that must be worth something. $1,500?

Dealer, used car place, carmax, webuycars etc $500.
I can't imagine anyone privately buying a 91 for over $800. You might get lucky with the right buyer & get $1K

Ditto. In great shape it could get $1000 from the right buyer, but likely the $500 or so range is it.

My 91 XLT I should have sold about 10 years ago, now I'm hoping I can get $500 with a spare 93 4.0/A4LD. They are nice trucks still, but older SUV values dropped fast a long time ago.
