i've got a 92 explorer xlt 4x4..and i recently put on a lift, a small one that i made with a couple different types of lifts. does anybody have a measurement for the top of their rear and front wheel wells? for a first generation explorer 4x4..4dr..with 120k?

thanks a lot..just a measurement in inches would help so i could compare!..

thanks again

My truck left stock height years ago so I cant help, but I am curious about this lift you talk about... details?

I took measurments on 5 different first gens. All appeared stock all with 235/75r15. The measurment to the fender lip from the ground to directly above the hub varied between 32 5/8" and 31 5/8".

thanks.. and my lift ..is a 2in coil spacer up front and a warrior shackle lift set for the rear compiled with a procomp add a leaf lift

jim..i that the front or rear fender wells?

you have 2" of lift :)

I bet the back sits higher then the front

i just measured my rear wells..at the peak of height from the ground to them..and it was about 34.5 on both sides..and thats with a procomp add a leaf and a warrior shackle lift set..

yeah well the coil spacer is a supposed 2in lift spacer..and the rear was a 1.5 in warrior shackle and a 1.25in procomp add a leaf..it should be 2.75 in total..but then account sag and wutnot..

add a leafs do wear out and sag in time, so expect it to drop a bit.
A 2" spacer is pushing your alingment to the max, I am surprised it could be aligned to 0 degree + camber

is this a 4wd truck?

yup..4x4..and i just put the add a leafs in about a month ago..i hope they aint sagged too much yet..plus im sayin the leaf packs look dangerously flat..

explorer leafs are pretty darn flat, especially after 14+ years.
