Yes I can replace them And have doors to do so. But I think new doors would hurt the looks of the truck.

So can this be helped and how!!??

roll down the window, take a 2x4 and put it the door frame, where the door closes, , close the door lightly, than push the top of the door a bit, to flex it,remove the board, , than close it, and see if the gap closes up, when it does, stop doing it,

Hey Mark, can they be left till i come down in a few weeks ?

if so , i will fix them for you when i am there,, it will only take a few minutes to do both ,

Corkey I don't think I understand. Put 2x4 up and down or a cross in the door.

Work with me sometimes I'm slow.

in the door by where the pin that latches it is, than gently push the frame a bit, till it fits right,, but don't push too hard,

...If I'm not mistaken, that happened from flexing....I have had that on both rear doors and they have flexed right back later...:dunno:

...Mine has not been that bad but pretty darn close...I came back from Truckhaven one time and swore I needed a new door...Next offroading trip, I came home and could hardly even notice it...:dunno:

well Ted, seing as it is both doors i would rule out the cab flexing thing, and maybe try this
but the flex thing is possible,,

...It is common out here, just like putting in new headliner pins and popping them out at Truckhaven...The Explorer's really do twist that much on the body...The rear doors are almost dead center of the axles and is center of where the body would flex...

k, maybe go out and flex it in a ditch, see if it comes back,

...I am on board with your fix...(pun intended)...:D

...I was just replying to how it happened, my same problem, and how it fixed itself on both my doors, pretty much...I can clearly see that happening on that truck as it flexes better than mine...

Ted your right about how it happened. And I was fine with it until it rained.
Corkey If I can't get it before you came down,Then please SHOW me what your talking about.

Also with the flexing This truck wont be seeing trails like it's use to. I don't think so anyways. Maybe we can get out in dec. Joshua is already making plans,to help wrench and wheel.

I'll see what I can do tomorrow. Plus I can replace all the doors If I have to. turdle wants me to I think??

Thanks

...Nothing wrong with having spare doors....Especially when it starts getting hot and you decide to make 3/4 doors...The old ones will be perfect for that...
