Yes, they are side markers. Go to one of my web pages http://members.home.net/engcamron/Main.htm to see a complete "how to" on installing them. Lots of pics of the install process too.

Frank D,
Stuttgart/Germany? Cool. I spent 4 years in Germany. April 84 to May 88. Anyway, I think you’re a little confused. The mods I describe in my "signature" are fictitious. " Okay, maybe not yet. But I can dream cant I?"

Sorry! I am however learning a great deal about turbochargers. I also have a friend who says he can fabricate a custom adapter for the Explorer. I think I would actually use a single turbo mounted before the catalytic converter and after the headers connect to the Y pipe. We are working on the "plumbing" and Intercooler issues. Who knows?

Hi,Cameron.

Hope your dreams will come true soon!
When you`re finish with it just let us know-maybe with some pictures!

So long

Nice truck

I have a white 96 sport. Did you put in a lift kit or not? I am very interested about this custom adapter that is in the making. I have wanted to put in a turbo charger for a while, but no one wants to deal with the "plumbing." Is your explorer a SOHC or OHV, automatic or manual trans?

Later on,

Drew

Cameron,
I'd say nice truck, but I can't see the pics - this is wierd...

How about now? Sorry about that. I was updating the pic and did not link them correctly.

Drew,

The suspension is stock (for now) and I have the OHV with a 5 speed. Go to my web site and check out the modifications I have done and plan on doing to my truck. We are still working on the turbo adapter. The plumbing shouldn't be much of an issue. There are so many things to think about. Fuel delivery and temperature control are two of the major ones. In any event, were working on the concept and I will keep you all updated as to the progress. And of course, I will be posting pics of the exhaust adapters as it's developed.
