I need to know about how much (HELP PLEASE)

:exporangeI need to know about how much a new transmission would be and about how much a used one would be.
It is for a 1995 Ford Explorer 2 wheel drive 5 speed manual.
i don't have the money right now but i need to know about how much so i can save up. thank you all.

I would look on car-part.com for a used estimate, they have a huge range. New- will probably be as much as the truck itself is worth...

Call around to used auto parts places in your area, last time I paid $350
for one that was like new. All depends on what's around.
