Installing wind/rain deflectors

I just got a 2011 Ford Explorer Limited and would like to install in-channel rain/wind deflectors. We tried to install them but the "Bounce Back" system kept happening so when the window rolled up it sensed something there and then rolled back down. Does anyone know how we can override this system?

Keep messing with them . you will get them to work... mine did the same thing.
