I've been busy over the winter...

OK I want that front bumper... that is exactly what I have been wanting to do. With that said BAD ARSE looking EXplorer.

Now where would I need to go and how much money would I need with me to get a bumper just like for my 92?

:D My suggestion to you would be to find someone locally that had a tube bender, a welder, and some mad skills. I dropped probably 700 on this one, but that's only because there's no one in my area that does this kind of work regularly, I had to drive 3 hours to get mine made. The more I talk to people I'm sure you could have one made for around 400 bucks or so.

truck looks sweet! I'm guessing you used a M5OD? Any computer work needed? manual is the only way to go... I'm very interested in hearing about the hand throttle too, I'll look forward to you posting more about installing that.

Thanks....good ol stock explorer manual tranny. I did have to mess with the computer due to the differences in the fuel curves, and the O/D light flashing. Some people went out and bought new computers from Ford. For about 100 bucks less I had the guys at Apten accomplish the same thing for me.

There's a few hand throttle threads around here, but I'll be sure to make my own. :D

Dude! I love the metal work.

The sliders are real beefy too!

Your Explorer is one of my favorites. The rock sliders look great! That bumper adds a lot of style to your Explorer as well. Again, looks awesome - keep up the good work.

How much would I be looking at pricewise (parts and labor) if I wanted to go with a 5-speed conversion kit? I own an auto. 2000 Ford Explorer Sport 4.0 SOHC 4X2 2-door.

There really is no kit. It all depends on how much you can find the parts for. Also, you probably won't find a shop that will want to take on that kind of project.

it looks good. i seen you on day when going down to school, and that front bumper looks mean coming at you.

Thanks. Wayland Shell is always my gas stop between GR and Kzoo....so keep an eye out. I'll be traveling alot between the two places in the next few months.

great looking truck

i work in gr and go to KVCC, so i'll keep a look out for you. look fo a green ex with a lot of dents covered with dirt. ;)

lol....alright

how much $ was that 5 speed conversion? I've been thinking about one

It all depends on how cheap you can find the parts.
