huh no.the fan has to come off for the motor to come out.i was saying pull the water pump and fan off as one if you cant get just the fan off.yea these tires run big.37 are huge too LOTS of lift and axel work$$$

yes theres one bolt left holding the water pump on. i just cant get to it in the space thats there, the only thing that make sense is if the fan was off and i cant do that

being i dont do anything serious, im hoping a d44/9" with 513s will work for them. id rather not try and move around 500lb d60 axles

no thought i was going 35 a small 35 not these beast.whatca at??still need rings and bearing and im sure your run into small stuff!!

lets just say im close to being able to buy a james duff lift.....
im think im going to reuse more then i thought at this point..
no new radiator, no jba wires, ill take some pics of my sparkplugs, maybe i wont have to buy those either..

you have a link to a elec fan that would work?

well according to this thread. http://explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=209262 the fan clutch tools i got from autozone suck. its not just me this time. nut tool is to big pretty much. looks like i need to goto pepboys from what its saying.

side note since i mentioned the 37s sas in here. ive changed my mind. some ttb lift/bl for 33s(actual not advertised). and the 37s will go to a future project; a stripped down, caged, d44/9", ranger

Its buy one get one free at advance right now

its been cleaned some. it was worse

^ thanks ill have to try that.

something i just thought of.. i dont rememer any vac line being attached to the fpr. its the round thing on the fuel rail with the fuel line attached right? i saw something where bad mailage was related to the line being off. i got 11-12mpg and they were saying 8-9mpg, but still

This was for my 2nd Gen OHV; The FPR had the main feed which was the braided fuel line going to the top, then the nipple with the rubber o-ring going into the fuel rail, then on left of the FPR was a vacuum connection leading back towards the firewall where the vacuum tree hooked up to it.

P.S. - If you've got a power washer it will greatly help you with the bottom of that lower intake, getting your hand in there and cleaning each of those ports on the bottom of it will SUCKS!!!

that piece to the next next to the injector is the vac line right? that picture was before i even touched that stuff and i dont see a line for it. all but one stub on the vac tree had lines of it(which is correct i think) so it mustve fallen off the fpr. heh, alteast its getting corrected now anyway

no i dont have a power washer, ill prob try the car wash on a nice day. the top of the lower intake came out good, but the bottom didnt
