Jon And Sheri's Vitamin D Wagon

The flexible version should hold fine, the rigid stuff would let go if the body flexed.

another 33 page thread i somehow missed, darn u Turdle. this is going to take forever to read thru. who am i kiddin, cant wait to read it all. if u need parts powdercoated on this beast, there is a guy here who is really good at it. he has a thread somewhere which is about 58 pages long.... Keep Up the Great Work as usual!!!

yeah yeah yeah , rub it in about rust free rockers Eh, ,

Turdle does powdercoating haha. Does a great job at it too!

The foam stuff works good as long as its sealed over (thick coat of herculiner will work fine for this). I used it on my rear fenders, shaved it down smooth, then herc'ed over it.

Well then I hope he gets ahold of him!!!!!!!!!;)

Dont know why but What Can I Powdercoat Today thread is like watching a good show, cant wait for more.

And yeah, you are rubbin in the rust free rockers Jon! Get some salt on 'em

Turdle started that powdercoating thread lol they are one in same.

Light bulbs going off? Gears turning? Lol just messing

A layer of fiberglass body filler over the holes, some sanding and a coat of herculiner finished up this job just fine.

No pics from us for a while. I threw the garage PC in the trash. Long story

We also demand the story. Or all replies will be just like this one. :D

Ok, well, it was a fine Saturday. We were supposed to go to Springfield to hang out with Gmanpaint but Sheri started to feel lousy so we hung out for a while. Then she got a wild thing up her socks and decided to vacuum an area rug.
She burned up the belt on the vacuum so we took a drive to Dollar general store. They didn;t have them so we went to walmart.

Mind you we went for a vacuum belt and walked out with a 46" samsung TV and a blueray disc player.

Well, Yesterday I decided the setup was not quite cool enough, so I shut down tha garage computer. I took off the cover, blew out the dust and sat it in it's new home beside the TV stand. I got all the hookups, even found a serial cable --got it all hooked up and when I plugged in the Tower the green power supply indicator started blinking. I disconnected the 20 pin connector from the mother board and the light came up steady. So---I was so pissed from wasting my afternoon I tied it in a knot and threw it in the alley.
After I cooled off a bit I took out the hard drive and tossed it in the trash.

It was a Compaq from like 2005 so no big loss.

2005? That's newer than anything i own! We have a Tandy for chrissakes!

:p:

Well shoot
I was going to just change out the isolator pads on the front shocks but snapped a top post on one of them.

Now I cannot seem to find a replacement.

There are numbers on the current ones.
32151 16697

then it says EXPLORER right under that

CO51X3

I tried searching by these numbers and came up with a blank

Could someone cross reference this number for me? I cannot seem to get Ranchos reference to download.

compressed length is 14" ( might be better if it was a little less actually) and extended length is 21"

I need the least expensive as I plan on changing things later so this is no time for investment quality.

Why not send those dimensions to 'The Shock Guy' EF vendor?????????

Only 7" of travel?

Swiping a picture Techieman33 took for another thread.

This shows the rocker panel re work, and herc grill

How do you like it?

That's a great picture, and it almost doesn't look like an Explorer.

waiting for the close ups
