Just bought a 2008 V8 Eddie Bauer

Dear Members,

I am a new member to the forum and just bought a 2008 V8 Eddie Bauer six-speed automatic with 12000 miles on it from a nice 84 year-old lady. Can anyone tell me what the tow rating is for this model?

Does it have the tow package and hitch receiver? If so about 7K pounds.

Look at the receiver opening:
a. If it's a 2" square opening, you have the Class III/IV towing package, and you have roughly 7000-7300 lbs MAX tow rating. It would depend on drivetrain, equipment, etc. Check the owner's manual.
b. If it's a 1¼" square, then you have the standard Class II package, which is limited to 3500 lbs MAX tow rating.
