Just replaced oil dip stick tube, after 2 hours.

Just changed my damn dip stick tube, which took 2 hours for me to finally take a hammer and screw driver to pound it out using the little notch near the bottom of it. Then did an oil change using quaker state 4x4 and suv semi synthetic oil with a fram double guard filter.

Anyone have any tips on replacing the damn dip stick tube for the next time i have to lol?

My only advice is to use a hammer and screwdriver to knock it out using the little ring near the bottom.

thats how I do, if you cant wiggle it out from the top with a pair of needle nose pliers.

Why did it have to be replaced?
To install I also use a screw driver (flat blade) and tap it in with a hammer, on the ring near the bottom.
