I can tell you that I have two 10 inch Kickers, and just one sounds better than one 12 inch JL. Take it for what it's worth...

compared to W0's you will like the kicker better. alot better and cleaner sound

i dunno about the comps..i heard a pair of 10's comps..powered by a fosgate 360..didn't get too loud of have deep deep bass..jl 10w3 sounded a whole lot better on the same setup..i have a pair of 12 w0's and they hit pretty damn hard..just giving you some info on what i've listened to..

the kicker comps are ar lot better than the Jlw0's.
but like someone mentioned, the JLw3's will perform better than the kicker comps.

This is kinda a divided issue because JL's and Kicker's are very similar in performance. I guess it's just a personal preference...

I'm with Makaveli911 If you have the money and alot of power get two in a sealed box. My friend has two in his Montero mated with a MATTS amp (i think it is the best amp out today) and that sucker rocks

kickers

i have 2 L7's in a sealed box with a fosgate 800a2 and they pound real hard. If i were you i'd go for the kickers and get an L7 but if you're going to get the comps get the comp vr's, my friend has them in his bronco and they're real clean sounding.
