Probably 31x10.5

and even that may rub the innerfenderwells a little bit... it may require some plastic trimming... mine did...

they could probably tell me at the tire place right? I don't really want to do any trimming but i think i truck looks funny now because i have what looks like a good 4 inches of space.

31s will fit fine within the fenders....but it is the inner plastic tub inside the fenders where the rub will/may occur.....

ok. I will have to take a look under there and see. I am going to change the subject real quick. to the left of my battery is a little round thing with two bold sticking out of it. my car sometimes will not start. if i put the key in the on position and put a piece of metal between those two bolts the engine will start. Is that the relay switch? do you know what is called? i want to replace it but not sure what it is called so i don't know what to buy. thanks

That's the starter solenoid. I've had to use that trick of starting the truck with a screwdriver a time or two with my old Ranger. You get some funny looks when you are in the grocery store or the mall parking lot starting your vehicle from under the hood with a screwdriver. :)

Anyway, both times when I had to do that, the starter solenoid was not the problem. If you can start it there, then the solenoid is working and the problem is elsewhere. The first time, the ignition switch was at fault. The second time, the nuetral start switch in the transmission was at fault. It would get stuck sometimes and would not let the truck start in any gear. Both were easy fixes. Good luck finding the problem.

Ok i will try that. I have to say that a little bit ago the guys at my garage had to do some rewiring because some wires had melted and it was causing the same symptoms. If it is that wiring thing they will redo it for free. I will just have to trace it there. I will try that nuetral trick though. I did just get my whole starter replaced as well. we'll see and i'll let the board know

thanks
