I really didn't do all that great. Guess that driver side leak may have affected me some?? I dunno and I never got warmed up honestly because I only got to run twice. IT WAS BUSY, I nver seen so many V8's and muscle cars at one place in my life. My first run was atleast against another stock vehicle. A 99-04 silver V6 Mustang Automatic. Even though I didn't have a great R/T and didn't run fast At all I won.
2nd Run Against some late model Camaro SS
R/T... .122
60'......2.575

My dad recorded for me so I'll upload it later ! I don't know what the heck was up with my truck. I should have been running Low 16's for sure maybe I never got enough consectutive runs in. I should have done much better.
I'm loading the video now. It looks like the Mustang is gonna get me but Honestly I win in the end. IF I had a better R/T I was very anxious for some reason, I could of had that stang off the line as well and done even better. I still not seeing why I didn't run like eric?
Your times should have been a lot better than that, I was running those times with just the CAI and exhaust. With your mods you should be in the low 16's at least. Something may be wrong with your explorer, I doubt a small exhaust leak would slow you down much and definetly not almost a full second.

Yeah man, I have no clue even if my truck wasn't warmed up I don't get what could have slowed me down like that. I ran just as good as that if not better the last time back in April. Spark plugs??

Looks like you had fun man. I should be getting my explorer back tomorrow and hope that the tranny will shift better. This coming spring we all need to get together and get some runs in. I am actually aiming for some 14.9's. I think with some more bolt-on's and a good tune, I could hit it?
I was browsing this thread and I wanted to mention I suspect the plugs played a huge role in my slow times. During those racese and afterwards during acceleration I was begining to experience hesistation during WOT and continued until after I changed my plugs afew weeks afterwards. It turns out that the seafoam really will foul out your plugs. I plan on going one more time this spring before the possible "BIG" project this summer!
Well here's the schedule boys and girls. Girls being everyone around here but Jon since I'm gonna whoop the rest of your butts I'd really rather not go back to KCIR unless everyone else insists on it.
I think it's just south of Pittsburgh, KS on the west side I highway 69. I'm not sure since I haven't been down that way in long time. But it would be fun to take a road trip and meet down there.
