The white and black cover belongs to another member.

i knew that but just had to throw it out there, looks great john keep up the good work and looks of the products

I haven't been doing much powder coating lately. Too many mechanical catastrophes to deal with.
I need a break from that for a while, so

Some classic Mustang stuff for JDraper.

This color is "Pac-Car black" which we will just call Satin. it is a 50% gloss

Very nice. Is that "Pac-Car black" a good choice for the exterior trim for my stuff?

I finally took one of my mirrors apart yesterday. I'll take pictures to show you shortly. There are four main external parts, two larger metal and two plastic pieces. I'll send you the pair with eight pieces, and the phillips screws holding them together. Hopefully the plastic parts can take the heat, give them a try. I'd prefer them to match and not be painted with regular paint. Night,

Don, I almost insist on the pac car black if not wrinkle for those parts.

The wrinkle isn't as "wrinkley" as the name suggests. it is a textured gloss. I think it would clean up better and be way more durable.

The pac car would be the 2nd choice for durability. Finish is a toss up. The wrinkle really is a favorite once it is seen. I think that is why it is so dag gone expensive. Oh, wrinkle cures at 25 degrees lower then the pac car also--;)

Jon I meant to show you this a few months ago when I changed the Differential fluid for Royal Purple I finally got your powdercoated cover on. It looks good!! These pics didn't come out great(cell phone)

 Top Notch!

So a while back a local kid asked if I could powdercoat his racing cart

I told him when he was ready--sure. Since he is a top ranked racer around these parts, and seems ot have his stuff together I told him I'd sponsor him if he'd get the word out. So far there have been quite a few kids asking so this may be a good thing.

Last night I was cooking dinner on the grill when he called saying he was getting ready to cross the bridge with a load of freshly blasted stuff.

I'm kind of busy right now, and, since these are now blasted I have to get on them--TODAY

I have to get this out of my way and have nowhere to put it. oh my

I have the whole team in my garage--lol

I figured I'd throw in some before shots. I probably will not get the wheels today-

It is all going to be "black chrome"

I think he needs some more wheels :)

How are you going to hang the frame? Looks kinda large for the spray booth and Oven.

Frame is pre baking now . The front nose piece is a slide in sub frame, removing it made the frame clear by about 8" at the floor hanging from double hooks.

<-------------- Wants a powder coating setup :P

Well, Sparksaflyin and son came to hang out. They were a big help getting this done.

Black chrome with a coat of mirror clear. I am pretty happy with how this turned out.

Wanna do some RX-8 Rims black?????

Again, nice work, was starting to get the shakes waiting for some new pics of your work. Thanks for the fix. Diggin that color!

Wanna do some RX-8 Rims black?????

I would love to.
Honestly though, the shipping back and forth alone would be near 200.00 for a set of wheels.

Didnt think of it that way.... damnit. no one around here does powder coating :(

That frame looks great, how many threaded holes etc. needed to be masked off?

Don, there were about 6 holes where tubes slid in, and 5 threaded holes. I used wadded tin foil for the tube holes and silicone plugs for the threads. The tube holes got clear coat to prevent rust, but I needed to be careful not to reduce the ID too dramatically.
