Stainless, but it's an alloy of some sort, they had some surface rust in spots.

Yeah sadly a lot of "stainless" isn't. I found that out on my '60 Dart. The "stainless" trim has magnetic properties. It makes it difficult to work out scratches and dings, unlike true stainless.

^^^ Wow. Looks nice.

Very nice, great work Jon.

They came out nice. What's the temperature range of the paint? Those parts get very hot. Do you have a sand blaster?
It's a ceramic coating made for high temps, over 500 degrees. Same stuff traeger uses for their grills.

Hopefully it will last.
I do have a sandblasting cabinet. I use crushed Garnett , or aluminum oxide. No sand.

The gittin place is getting a new sign!

Pics are before and after. The fabricator "needed" to paint a few just to see what they were going to look like, requiring a need for full burn off so all parts would blast clean.

Now that is a cool use of those old voltage regulators. Of course you can make anything look good.

That thing in the mirror says nah. But thanks Michael!

The sign looks great.

Form and function. Great artistry.

Some more million cubic inch supercharged big Chevy stuff

Blasted upper intake, and 2 custom spacers laser cut from 1 1/2" plate. Look at the size of these ports!

The 1 1/2" spacers required an extended, home made blower support snout, pictured beside stock height.

Pretty sure these are getting blackout ceramic. Decision will be made soon.
