I'm in the middle of installing a Tuff Country lift and when I test fit the right drop bracket there's a large gap between the front of the bracket and the frame - as seen in the picture. I've already had to bend the back mounting tab to get the bracket straight, I'm wondering if this is too much gap to suck up? I'm a bit concerned this will fatigue the mounting tab and force the bracket forward. This is my first lift install and I'm not too sure what I can get away with here. Any input from the experts?

Is the tab on the front of the bracket against the edge of the engine crossmember? If not, I would say go ahead and tighten it.
If the tab on the front already IS against the crossmember, then maybe you got a defective bracket (that or your truck's frame is bent).
