That's gotta be tough, even tho' I don't really like the "street" style I do appreciate a job well done and I think that your truck was done very tastefully, hopefully you'll get it ready in no time
Was your orange mottorola the one that died? get a blue one to match your interior![]()
i know its your truck and all danny, but i would stick with the pearl.
Danny, good choice going with the standard white. I've always loved how crisp mine looked. The pearl always looked kind of dirty from a distance. The touch up job is spot on!![]()
im different i guess, i like the pearl
Get the fender flare if it's unhurt, the mounting clips and the bodywork/paint is worth it. Good find on the parts, find me a 93/94 Limited sunroof cover(gray), LOL. Was the bumper hurt much, the inner section and outer cover are not easy to find as you know.
The way that junk yard works if if I want something like the electronics under a seat I have to buy the whole seat. The major difference between My limited and that limited if mine is a top of the line limited and that is a base model limited...No sun roof no high end sound system etc. On top of that the interior is that tan so that wont work. I do have the Limited hub caps off of it. They were just laying on the ground so I through thows in my truck to. This junk yard charges a lot of money. They don't have a limited 99-01 bumper but they do have the bumper support and they want $200+ for that when I can go buy a new one for $150 and a new cover for $150. But at least I know where a junk yard truck is like mine so if I do need a fender flair at any point I can go get it.Oh, will that place sell seat tracks separately? Or can you remove parts, can you take off just the electronics from under the driver's seat? I have a spare memory seat module to try on my 98 seat track. Most of the parts are together under the seat, removable from the rest of the seat track etc. If it will work, I could do both seats at some time. Half of the work is in the wiring away from the seats though. The main six wires go to the LF door, one wire to the GEM, and one in the kick panel area.
Get a spare door panel or two if you need them, as well the wheels. Those Limited wheels are the best at clearing big brakes like I have. Most 16's don't fit well with big calipers.
You know it!Score! Nice find Danny.
Yeah. if I want anything off this truck I have to take a friend with me he works for Able, a big McDonalds chain for body repair in Alaska. He gets a pretty good discount there.sweet! glad to hear that you found a truck like yours. was wondering what was happening. even bigger bonus that your buddy is putting a rad support in you truck, they do require some labour, but they are not that hard to do, as long as you can weld. x2 on what CDW6212R said about grabbing what you can while you can. over the last year, i have only seen one limited in the bone yards here, and buy the time i saw it, it was picked pretty clean!
