MAF Humming

OK, this is what I did to my 97 4x4 sport that has the SOHC 4.0:

Disconnected the negative cable

Cleaned MAF and TB with appropriate cleaners

Changed air filter

Dumped Seafoam into the brake booster vacuum hose

Now the MAF is humming, but seems to stop when driving, but at a stop or idle it hums pretty loud.

Any thoughts?

yeah, if its an original 97 it don't owe you anything. The dying moosecall means its going out.

Try cleaning it. My 95 has the original. I've only had to clean it once. No hum now.
