I was starting to get worried about making it! Geesh! I though I would have this sucker running by April...

Made my reservation at canyonlands, i'll be right across from Ryan. Cant wait!

sweet dude!! I'll be anxious to see your ex in person!

410- that 5.0 is gonna be sweet to wheel with! :D

Hi everyone, I am a long time reader, but first time posting. I just had a question? I would love to come down for the weekend trip but i dont want to/cant register for 2 reasons.
Reason #1
from the looks of the sign up thread it doesnt seem like to many superstock/stock vehicals are going. Is this true? (i wouldnt want to show up and be the only superstock out there and slow you guys down.)
Reason #2
i cant register (dont know about work situation) but i still want to come.

would it be okay if i were to not register and come and see eveyones rigs then just go out and do my own thing? and if some superstocks show up i can join them?

ive been to moab several times including 2005 ejs and only being 3 1/2 hours away i try and go when ever there is a chance, even if its only a day trip, and this looks like a good excuse to go down there. :D

I dont see why not, You would have to talk to Gerald or Rick. Try pming them. Even if your stock you could still join us. I believe there is a couple other stock rigs going and you may be able to hook up with them and do a couple easier trails.

There's no problem, come on. We've always had reservations for Moab because it is usually a large run and we need to know how to guess for dinnver resv/etc. I've learned though that the true count of who actually shows up is usually not very close to the estimate.

I believe another rig or two will be stock/superstock that you could run with (the only thing that worries me about your post is that I would strongly recommend that you NOT go out alone on a trail). We'll be glad to see you!

Hello again, thank you every one for the replies. I'm hoping to come down for this, its sounds like a blast! i love it in moab, never want to leave once i get there. I'll see how the work situation is, it might be a last second thing and ill be cruisin down friday night but if not i will register for sure(dont want to register and not end up coming, sorry for sitting on the edge!)

Hey Gjarret, sorry to mislead you, i've learned from other peoples mistakes  and never plan on wheelin by myself. Hopefully my buddy with his J*%p can join me in the fun.

Once again thank you everybody, love the sight and use it a lot, hopefully i'll meet everyone in moab!

I want to come again this year but I want to do something different. I want to ride along on the hard trails and maybe only do a easy trail or 2 with my Explorer. Would any of the big dawgs/extreme rigs have an empty passenger seat I could occupy??

I also wont have much of a chance to prep my Explorer for the trails as I am leaving for a racing comp this Sunday and wont get back untill the end of the month leaving me no time to do the stuff I need to do to it.

maybe we could go together i live across town from you... im also in the same work situation.

there is always an open seat on the big dawg runs :)

ill see if i can go, i would love to ride along on the big dawg trails. my X is still stock.

Im in a dilemma here, tight now im running 4.56 gears in the front and 3.73 in the back. My problem is i have the money to get the back regeared and everything i just dont know if it worth it. I plan on swapping both axles out this summer and i know even with the 500 bucks im gonna spend to get the rear regeared i could never sell it for half that. What do you guys think i should do? I have ran the gear setup how it is for almost 4 months and had no problems. I even hit the 4x4 button on the road by mistake once with the front hubs locked. That wasnt very fun but nothing broke suprisingly. As long as the tires have a little slip it should be fine dont you think?

NO joey do not go to Moab with those gears like that there is NO slip on the rocks, you WILL break something, more than likely the T-Case, either do the gears or find someoen with a stock 3.73 F end and slap back in there,

Hey I have one of those laying around, I could bring it if you want!

I have the gears that were stock. I dunno what im gonna do, may just not go, your correct on the slippage part.

not go what are ya CRAZY??????????? $500 for a R&P install seems high, shop around a little slap those babys in and lets ROCK!!!!
