I finally made it all the way back to Tacoma . That mirror that broke off in Moab , got it fixed , so a tree could tear it off in Liberty on Memorial Day . Oh well .

That's a bummer. 
When I broke my rear axle, the axle shaft chewed up the edge of the side bearing journal. I just ground down the high spots and was able to re bearing everything and put it all back together.
