that looks very sharp. i love the "all one color" look. (mono tone? mono chromatic?) or something like that. looks nice. how did you match the color so well? is the paint factory?

dude, that looks sweet....i wanna see it in person sometime. maybe do mine.

btw, i like the quote from jimabena..haha

I would have removed the belt mouldings.

Sooooooooooooooooooo easy to do.

HappyGilmore, yes its a factory color for 95-97 limiteds..they added it as a color for regular Xs in 98..but its still pretty rare. my body man matched the paint for it..he also sprayed it an all that jazz :D and thank you..i also like the monotone paint(if you cant tell) :p

john, sure man any time you wanna see it. im sure it would look nice on your truck also. :p

5 headers

thats just a few

96, didn't you paint some other pillars black or was it on one of the other explorers? I could have sworn it was you, but it might have been someone else.

and what is a "belt molding" *waits for MONMIX to chime in*

the moulding at the bottom of the glass.
Remove those and you can hide the paint edge.

Looks good 96. Everything flows much better.

Monmix, if you don't mind answering this...how would you remove that?

There is one nut attaching to a stud on the underside of the door top edge, in the door jamb area. Each of those moldings has one of those nuts holding it on, and they are in the center post door jamb area. After removing those nuts, the moldings pry up. Roll the window down to make it easier to R&R. Good luck,

that was me...but that was on my '95 project truck :D

By the way, I can't help but notice how much better your outdoor pics look, I wonder why.

Just thought about something, I love to hunt and fish and always wanted to see Alaska. How about a trade off. I'll come up for a few weeks and we can chop the top, roll cage, axel swap, rip out all non-essential stuff like carpeting headliner and other cosmetic stuff. Then hook up a nitrious system so you don't have to wait for it to rain to spin your tires. I can pitch a tent near the work area. Then after were done you point me in the right direction for my trade off. What ya think?

Another thought, just think of the pics you could post. :D You could really piss someone off HA HA . Keep up the work, it sounds like you really enjoy it.
