Mount Lights on the bumper or in the bumper?

I bought some 5" pro cmp lights. they were 55 wat, but I switched the bulbs to 100 watters. Useing a stock '99 bumper. should I mount them on top of the bumper or under it in the stock housings (cuting them open to size) ?

Do whatever pleases You. I would put themn on the bumper top , but if you can fit them below, then do so....

If you could make it work below without making it stick out too much then that would really look really good, really.

if you switched them to 100 watt bulbs check the wiring a friend of mine did that and the wires in the lamp melted.

to mount them on top of the bumper you have to cut out 2 squares of the metal to get the nuts in

The new lights are now in. I ended up puting them under in the stock housings. Look good
