Well Today I just got my kooks system for my 05 GT. I'm excited. I'm gonna wait until either sunday or monday to install them at a storage shed with my friend. I got the KOOK's Long tube system with the high flow cats and h pipe.

That looks yummy, I just got through doing a KB 2.8 comp. package install today on a GT500, going next thursday to have it tuned, then off to Nevada for the Silver State Classic.

You'll enjoy those headers :burnout:

Nice. :)

looks nice be sure to post sound clip of it when ur all done

I want a Stang....

unfortunately I never did. But I am going to the fall HS Drag event at KCIR on sunday the 27th. I'm just gonna have to start from there. It's a pretty well known fact though what these things run stock. Mid-high 13's around 103-104 mph. I'm not too worried about it although it would have been nice. I just been busy this summer with other things! I will bring my new camera up with me to get video and some snapshots! Also Im also about to get a tuning device for this as well so it will be tuned for the event.

Well The Headers are in place and everything turned out great. I will get some video and pics in the morning! This install honestly was alot smoother overall than the Explorer's Header project. Alot more room to work with. But the sound over just the Axle back Flowmasters is IMPRESSIVE. VERY aggressive, and a noticable increase in power. Now to just get this baby tuned and I'll be set!

Good stuff Thomas. Sounds MEAN. :D

Thanks Brad. I know you got a smile on your face the first time you put your foot down after the Header install. I know I did on my Explorer. But wow, everything is amplified on this GT. The sound is AMAZING, I cant get enough of it. It's not just deeper but louder. Before this my setup on the Explorer was louder up until maybe the Mustang Redline but now there's no denying that the Stang is louder all the way around than the Explorer! And the seat o pants feeling is very very nice!! Gotta love doing research before purchasing. I gotta thank the internet for many many things including this forum!

Good choice Thomas. Kooks makes the best out there for sure.

I hope I get a ride in that thing some day. I was filthy last time you were down.

lol the plan was for a spin in the stang actually right before Eric had the accident. He was gonna do one more run and we were gonna come back and take a run in the GT. Don't worry I'll be back down again, I have too much fun down there!

sounds loud and mean thomas keep up good work

Here's pretty much all of my runs at the track. I will get my times later on but I did alright for my first time in a manual. Only lost two rounds and could have won those two had it been for more practice!

The worst run which was also my first one against the acura. I had a horrible R/T and launch and on top of it missed 2nd gear and 3rd.

RT- .996

My best overall is the second one against that Red Trans AM.
