My 2000 Explorer is leaking massive amounts of coolant.

i am leaking massive amounts of coolant from the drivers side of my engine. all hoses are ok, and it seems that while i am under the veh with engine running, there is a leak from the block.......no coolant in oil or vise verse. what gives? freeze plug? water pump? water is circulating fine throughout the coolant system. NEW MEMBER PLEASE SEND INFO>>>>>>THANKS
