HAHAHAHA well to tell you the truth they do flare out! but its not a good thing! need to do some cutting its from those big Ol 35" tires! its pushed in and up behind each tire, at the bottom of the fender. I have two new fenders to use but just havent got around to cutting them yet. But from the tire hitting the fender it pushed it in and up and that made the middle of the fender, right above the wheel well bend out just a little bit, thats why it looks a little flaired out. But they are stock fenders
SOooooooooooooooooooo I found my truck on this BII site. its from 2004, needless to say it is UGGLY!!!!!!!!!!! this truck had some paint problems, or some one had a drug problem! hahaha. Looks a little better nowadays
now I need to change my fan clutch, does it turn clock wise on these or counter clock? I have been reading about it on this site but its all X's so any tips would be great
2.9L is reverse rotation I believe, you should get a new fan as well they are about $35 and the nylon around the hub cracks in time, I guarantee yours is cracked.
yeah well look at that, reverse rotation... And your guarantee is correct. whats a good fan to pick up? Okay now this rear ABS needs to come to a end. First I would like to pull the fuse to see what happens, or if I could just rip it out and bypass it. But I have no plate on my fuse box to tell me what is what and who is who
I removed my RABS valve and bypassed it with a simple fitting (from one hard line to the other) I took the RABS box with me to the parts store to make sure I got the correct fittings, car quest I think it was.
I removed the computer and wiring from the truck as well.
To disable the system unplug the computer, it should be behind the side panel, just behind the pass seat.
Ford dealer is the best source for a new fan and clutch, but you can also try parts stores like Napa, Caruqest, etc
