so how can I tell what I have in the front? Axel's?

wow I just used some ones account, I loged in as limited...... I use that on a different site not this one. So SORRY who ever Limited is on this site never ment to actually use your account! haha

why are you not supposed to put a K&N Cone filter right off the intake?

on the 2.9L?
because the fan can cause turbulence for the incoming air

I knew a few guys who did it this way, seemed to work okay for them.
However when coming up with reasons not too this was the only one I ever heard.

from behind the grill is where I suck in my cold air, the stock BII air hole thing on my truck is now 4" around, none of that plastic baffle crap either :)

now I am going to unplug the RABS Computer behind the seat. If I just unplug the comp and do not take out the RABS Valve or go around it will I run into some breaking problems? Or if I just unplug the RABS comp, it will leave me with just no RABS?

correct, unplug the computer = disable RABS, braking will be normal

you must be from B.C:thumbsup: See that truck around poco and I believe a guy named keegan owned it b4 you. Good to seesome BC people. Im from poco and on bc4x4 and funinbc:burnout:

this is why i love BC. Wherever you go its purty.

So I unpluged that computer behind the driver, for the RABS, I go to put it in 4WD and nothing... SO I plug it back in and 4WD works. I have a push button 4WD + manual locking hubs.

Also I was looking at a different BII site and found that the rear windows on some BII's are held in by bolts. 10 of them. So what I am doing now is drilling holes were these nuts are so I can just stick a socket in and take em out. I have come VERY close MANY times from hitting the top part of the window on a tree, so this way I can take them out and not worry about poping them out. And in the summer I can take em out rather than choping the top, because here in BC it rains for 8 months straight than hot and 0% rain for 4 months. I like having a dry truck :)

I can post the site with pics of how to take the window out

yup and then you can make some simple soft windows to go back in for rain, etc

Sounds like you unplugged the 4x4 shift computer, ot the RABS computer.
On my 88 the GEM (4x4 shift) is under the dash, the RAbs was behind the drivers seat, i am 90% sure
Maybe your model is different?
