you guys wont get it. i should just stop trying.

and so you know where i'm coming from. i'm so hella pissed off right now. and you guys are making me feel worse.

its not feeling stuck up..not what i'm like at all. its the fact my truck was perfect..not a dent or scrach. and now it looks like **** in my eyes. IMO it looks like a ghetto ass POS. thats just my opinion about my own truck. i never said anything about anyones car/truck. i was speaking of my own.

anyway i'm done..i cant feel much worse now so i'm gonna go get my old hatch and put it in the garage so that i can swap it over tomarrow.

AK's put alot of time and effort into his truck...i can dig why he wants to get it fixed asap...i would too. He gets alittle excited but hell he's 16...i'd hate for yall to know what i was like at that age LOL

**the kind and caring side of CP** bwahahahaha

you guys are out to get me.

I can't speak for everyone, but I know I am. Every morning I wake up and think, "How can I piss off Russell today?"

bwahaha, thats funny

the hatch was shaved in 2004.. the keyhole, window trim, wiper, emblems, window sprayer.. were shaved.(where the tape is was welded and shaved)

at the time i did not want the 3rd brake light or t-handle shaved. but now i do so i was saving up to get it back in. so this kinda speeds that up.

oh well

ooo I like the shaved look......So with the rear bumper are you going to sand and paint? Good luck with the hatch....btw I agree with CP you have put alot of time in to your truck and I can see why you would whant to have it in pristine condidtion at all times.

it would cost me more to fix this bumper then to grab the one off a identical limited at the junk yard. so i'm just gonna grab another bumper. quick and costs less.

how would a piece of grit sand paper, some filler and some paint be more expensive than a new bumper...

i called my junk yard guy he said $25. and i know my body/paint guy would charge more to take the bumper off..prep,paint this one. so its a done deal.

and i'm not doing it myself cause i want a nice finish when i'm done. lol

thats what happens when you drive, you didnt try it thats why its called a accident, so dont beat your self up about it, imo: its more fun gettin my truck dirtty then keepin her spotless, but thats just me

well thats pretty cheap for a bumper.

Hey, i understand what you're say'n man. When i first got my ex my mom took it shopping and came back with some serious door dings in the drivers door, and she didn't even see a problem with it.....and when i'm out off roading in tight iowa trails lined with trees i kinda cringe everytime i hear a branch go across the length of the vehical. I know it'll get damaged driving off road, but that doesn't mean i like it. There's nothing wrong with taking pride in your truck and wanting it to look perfect.

well said......25 bucks is dam cheap...I want to go to that junk yard.

It's you truck do what you want! Not everybody takes pride in thier dents and scratches. My dents and scratches get washed and waxed with the rest of my truck  But my truck is not in as good of shape as yours.

You just have to realize that people on this forum like to give you a hard time. They just like to get you worked up. Don't take it so seriously. Ten years from now you will be doing the same thing to the teenagers with an 06ex.

Good luck with the fix up.

guys yesterday was such a bad day. my truck was just the topper to it. ontop of family probs money probs..ect so i'm sorry.

the truck goes in Wed to the body shop..$150 and be good as new. he laughed and said aww this is nothin..i'll have you back on the road looking good no prob..lol so that helped alot. todays looking alot better allready.

well thats good, i was certain that $500+ was an overly excessive amount of money for those little beauty marks.

good to hear you'll get it taken care of so cheap. wish you hadnt taken the pics down! i know exactly how you feel, im the same way about my truck. we've owned it since it was build and its always been kept immaculate. one day my dad backed into it and was thinking we shoudlnt even bother fixing it but i did anyway. i dont care that my car is 11 years old, anybody who i tell that to craps themselves cause it looks about 3, same as yours.

Clearly, this event is worthy of medical attention. Go get checked out for extreme emotional distress after it's fixed....and it wouldn't hurt to get a shrink either.....

C'mon man suck it up.
