on a lowered explorer if possible.

I have a black mountaineer and plan on running some black 18" saleens on my truck lowered either 2-4 or 4-6. Please post what you have. I've searched all over this site and have found nothing close. I've also searched google and come up dry, which is kind of a good thing meaning not everyone's doing it, so it would seem.

uhhh. i was asking for pics of 18" black saleens on lowered explorers.

LOL lower4x4 you're about to get banned -- stop the spam.

Guess I'll be the first.

Getting them this weekend if my coupe sells this week.

I hear they may not be strong enough to support your vehicle... I don't know first hand, but there are posts about this subject. Unless there is an updated/reinforced version of the wheel you're looking for, it's frowned upon. I don't know where the posts are, but they are here. Good luck.

that doesn't make any sense to me. how much more does a mountaineer weigh than a saleen? saleens are heavy as hell.

also, how is it that people run 18" saleens on their cars all day but 20's aren't strong enough.

makes no sense.

Oh, check out the ExplorerExpress.com website... I believe they are a sponsor here.

these are the real deal 20" saleens off my buddy's saleen, not replicas, if that matters.

Friday I'll have em on. I'll post up pics Saturday after I detail it!

Rofl. I had to laugh, sorry. Why would you lower your 4x4, you entering some kind of new tractor pull competition? :p:

Because it looks Badass IMO, and makes the truck more efficient.

I encourage it for a street driven only truck myself. I have felt the increased stability.

It is a nice truck, lowered or lifted.. you have to give him that... He's put a lot of work into it.. It'll beat the socks off most other street trucks on this forum.. as for the other dude....... oh man.. who knows..

It is a nice looking truck, I admit, and I stand corrected :)

It's not Just a nice looking truck, he's got a 347 in there.. and plenty of other mods... I wish it was mine..... haha
So where did you come from? I might be needing some 33's or 32's soon.....

Anyhow, here's a crappy pic of them after I installed them that I took on my cell phone:
