Hi,

I have a 98 Explorer XLT with a horn problem. I changed the fuse but the horn still doesnt work. someone told me it could be the wiring. does any one here know how i can get to the wires and were they are located and what colors they are. i brity sure it is the wire because sometimes it works and most the time it doesnt. if this helps it does have an alarm.

one more question about the AC unit. i just moved to LA from CO and on my drive to LA my AC was working fine. but a week later my AC quit working does any one know why? the MAX AC still shots out cold air but the regular mode does not any opinions.

thanks in advances.

Hi I'm attaching the schematic for the horn circuit. I would suspect that the horn relay may be bad. It is located in the Power Distribution box under the hood.

The A/C problem unfortunately may be caused by a broken blend door. If you search for "blend door" you should find tons of info;its a common problem with 96-98 Explorers
