I'm a new Mountaineer owner. My father-in-law just gave me his hand-me-down 1998 awd Mountaineer.
Living in metro Atlanta, I have to pass an emissions inspection and have an exhaust manifold leak. It is leaking from the header connecting cylinders 5 and 7. I think my notation is correct. It is the front and third cylinders on the drivers side. This is causing the MIL light to come on with a "slow" O2 error code.
Anyway, I was wondering what a good source for used parts were. Currently, I need the aforementioned exhaust manifold and a new hub on the left front because the speed sensor is bad and abs is disabled. When I popped the wheel off it looked like the sensor is part of the hub and in order to fix I will have to replace the hub. Is this correct?
Oh, does anyone know the split for the awd (50/50, 60/40, etc)?
