search around a bit for the other recent threads i've started- lots of better picutres out there.
for those who say they are blingy- good god lol. you ever been to a major car show? if i had rims less blingy than this you couldn't even see my car at the shows i'm trying to win. think about the purpose they serve
but as far as shiny (or at least big) rims go- there is just no way around them (if anyone has tried it was me) if you want to compete at any high level shows.
so it wasn't that it was negative, it was just being negative about something that is inevitable. i'd be shooting myself in the foot not to have rims at least that "blingy". hell i still may be. the rest of my truck might "deserve" some 22s or 23s...
Hey there's nothing wrong with big rims, and I'm glad to see that he did get chrome! Paint belongs on the car not on the rims. If your going for a street car, especially to show you have to have big rims. Keep the 17's for the track, and put the chrome on for the street!
