Does anyone have any experience with larger wheels on a 2016-19 Explorer sport. I’m looking at 275/45R21. I tow, I don’t want any rubbing under load. That’s the OE size on the 2020 ST. Can I grab a set of those and put them on?

Welcome to the Forum.
The common warning is that an aftermarket tire should not exceed the nominal 3% maximum diameter variance when compared to OEM. The size you are looking at is 2%. That translates to when your speedo reads 60 mph you are really doing 61.4 mph. BTW, that size you mentioned is the optional size tire on the 2020 ST and Platinum. The OEM is 255/55R20. Also, keep in mind that with a lower profile tire, you will most likely experience a little firmer/rougher ride since there is less sidewall to absorb any shock. I believe there are members who have put 275's on their Explorers without rubbing.
